Install Univonix Migrate Tool to Skype for Business On-Prem Server

This step requires the Univonix Import Tool to be installed on a dedicated server. If you have not already done so, follow the instructions in How to Install the Univonix Migration Tool. When complete return to this section.


This tool reads the configuration file generated by Univonix Migrate, verifies that the SfB server contains all the required data, policies, gateways and then uses various SfB APIs to configure the server.

  1. Load the UPM File and click Run.


  1. The Univonix Migrate Tool loads and begins to process the UPM File.


  1. If while the tool is running it encounters duplicates, a message is displayed asking the user to clear the issues.


You are asked to Update, or Skip these duplicate users.

You also have the option to terminate this migration by clicking on the Terminate button, if you feel that this migration has already been performed.


  1. When the migration is complete, a message is displayed.
